The only thing that I kind of miss is a full-auto option (other guns I like are the AK-74M and N). But is the ADAR a good weapon that can work on a budget (50/60k max)?

Here's what you need to do: Replace the gas block with a Daniel Defense MK12 low profile gas block. That will allow you to get rid of that front sight and your scope will work great! It took me awhile to figure it out. The mechanic sells it. It's the 5th item to the right on the very top row.
Yes! The ADAR is basically a TAPCO SKS with 1x1 mags and way more mod options - given the right ammo. If you get into the rhythm of shooting that thing, it's a goddamn wonderweapon. Also, just saying - a Holosun is the perfect height to put the dot right on top of the front sight post with the default gas block.
